"Epsilon" at Epsilon Resto Bar, Marina
Fried eggs, crispy pork belly, waffles, portobello mushroom, smoked potato espuma, tomatoes and a sauce from commandaria and beef stock.
✔ Pork belly was the tastiest item on the dish, although the fat could use some more rendering
✔ Sauce of commandaria and beef stock was tasty
✔ Love the addition of toasted tomatoes and mushrooms
✔ Very polite staff
✔ Relaxing environment: lovely view of Limassol Marina
✘ Waffles were too crispy, almost impossible to eat. You could probably crack open a Nokia 3310 with them if you tried to.
✘ Sauce was spread on the plate. It was too sticky and thick so it was very hard to get it on the waffles. Would prefer it served in a separate pot instead.
✘ Eggs were overcooked, for our taste.
✘ Puree was silky but otherwise blunt
- Will we be reordering the dish? No. Would prefer to try something else.
