Variety of Uramaki Rolls at Koi Sushi Bar, Protaras
Rolls in order of preference:
1. Philadelphia: salmon, cucumber, cream cheese, tempura flakes
2. Volcano: crabstick, salmon, cucumber, avocado, mayo, tempura
3. Crispy California: crab stick, avocado, cucumber, ebiko, tempura flakes, mayo
4. Shiozake: smoked salmon, cream cheese, asparagus
5. Rainbow: salmon, tuna, sea bass, shrimp, crab stick
✔ Bold flavours - it was quite hard to pick a dish that we didn't like, but our favourite ones were definitely the Philadelphia and Volcano
✔ Tempura was crunchy, freshly fried
✔ Smokiness of salmon was really coming through✔ Good amount of cream cheese
✔ Very good service. They accidentally brought us the Rainbow instead of the Volcano. After we explained that a mistake was made in the order, we were quickly served the correct plate as well.
✔ Great ambiance and views of Protaras' beach.
✘ The only negative comment would be about the music. It was very weird and not very suitable for a dining experience, in our opinion.
- Will we be returning? Yes, as we enjoyed our sushi experience. We would also like to visit the Koi Sushi bar in Nicosia, to compare their quality.
