Variety of dishes at Savvikos, Nicosia
The famous Greek fast-food chain has established ~1itself on the island! We tried the following dishes:
Yiaourtlou: 2 grilled spicy meatballs on grill pita with Yaourtlou sauce and Savvikos yogurt sauce - definitely our favourite dish!
Chicken gyrlou: Grilled chicken thighs with oriental spices, served on grilled pita bread with curry sauce and Savvikos yoghurt sauce.
Koto-souvli: 2 grilled chicken thigh skewers with spices and sweet treacle sauce. Served with a coleslaw with raisins
Ultimate burger: Charcoal grilled 100% beef patty with burger sauce, lettuce, tomato, melted cheddar, fried egg and BBQ sauce - very good value for money option!
✔ All meats were juicy
✔ The spices definitely gave the dishes a kick, without being too spicy
✔ The sauces tasted amazing!
✔ The bun of the burger was toasted and the egg was runny
✔ Love the sweetness of the raisins in the coleslaw
✔ Very friendly and quick service
One dish was not enough for us, we had to try four!
