We had the pleasure of attending Bistrot55 's "Gastronomy Appreciation Dinner": a 6-course dinner, with each plate paired perfectly with a glass of wine. The tasting menu consisted of the following dishes:


  • Roasted cauliflower with tahini,cashew nut crumble, quinoa and sweet pickles
  • Scallop tartare with macadamia puree, tomato consomme, herbed oil and sea cress
  • Pan-seared grouper with a lemon crust, pea puree, asparagus, artichokes and scallions
  • Red wine marinated pork tenderloin with salt baked taro, broad beans and grilled lettuce
  • Lamb chop & shank rillette, with courgette carpacio, okra, tomato condiment and yogurt with sumac
  • Strawberry mousse and compote, with almond sponge and basil yogurt ice cream


Each dish was executed to perfection and the hospitality was excellent! Thank you, Bistrot55 for such a wonderful night! Our compliments to the chefs!
