Red velvet pancakes at Omikron Brunch, Paphos
✔ Light & fluffy pancakes
✔ Strawberries, white chocolate (love it) and walnuts. Included within layers as well
✔ Love the texture introduced by the nuts and the acidity of the strawberry helps balance out the sweetness of the chocolate
✔ Friendly staff
✔ Nice environment - located near the Town Hall of Paphos. The main sitting area is on the terrace, overlooking the road next to the municipal gardens. There is a smaller terrace as well, with limited seating but lovely flower arrangements.
✘ The red velvet name is justified only by the colour of the pancake and (maybe) the white chocolate. Maybe a different version with red velvet cake frosting or other ingredients in the pancakes would make the plate even more interesting.
- Will we be returning? Yes! As of the date of this post, they are our favourite pancakes on the island. Would love to try other items on the menu as well.
