Pork Ribs at Barbacoa, Limassol

The dish comes with the option of two sides (potato salad, potato mash, beans, coleslaw, pickles and others). We chose the mash and coleslaw. We also ordered their truffle fries as extras.

✔ The ribs were juicy and super tender.  The pinky colour and smokey flavour proved that the meat was well smoked
✔ Their new potato mash recipe has definitely improved! The mash was smooth and flavourful
✔ The fries were crunchy and you could definitely smell and taste the truffle!
✔ Their homemade BBQ sauce rocks
✔ Very polite staff and quick service
✔ Located in the heart of Old Limassol, by Ayia Napa Cathedral. The indoor area showcases stoned arches. The outdoor area provides a view of a lovely pedestrian road of old Limassol.


  • Will we be returning? Definitely yes! The place is unique, as it is one of the only places in Cyprus offering smoked meat. The meat is guaranteed to be fresh as it is smoked for hours (depending on the type of meat).

Tip: Arrive as early as possible (they open at 6pm) to ensure you enjoy maximum meat juiciness and that your favourite dish does not run out! (or pre-book it!)
