Calzone Capo Di Monte at Vecchia Napoli, Limassol
For our first visit to Vecchina Napolity, we tried their specialty pizza: Mozzarella, parmigiano regiano, emmental cheese, fontina, mushroom creme with truffle oil, prosciutto, trevisana, rocket, Grana Padano.
✔ Very complex flavours
✔ Freshly baked dough, crust was neither too soft nor too crunchy
✔ We love truffle oil so we were quite happy to taste it in the dish
✔ Very friendly staff and quick service
✘ The ingredients inside the calzone could have been more mixed together in order to be able to taste them altogether. Sometimes bites were mostly cheesy, other times mostly mushrooms, rather than a combination.
- Will we be reordering? Definitely! However next time we'll be ordering it with a lighter side, such as a salad, as it is quite heavy.
