The Tavern offers only meze. We were served the following dishes: Salad, tzatziki, fresh trachanas, mushrooms, pita bread with hallumi, sausages, fried zucchini with eggs, fried anthoi (flowers), oven baked pasta, koupepia (stuffed wine leaves), meatballs, oven-baked kleftiko with potatoes, chicken souvlaki, shieftalies and traditional Pishies for dessert.
Personal favourites were the mushrooms, pitta bread with hallumi and kleftiko
The Tavern is in a tradditional stone-house, decorated with old, traditional elements
Service is quite unorganised and slow
For 8 people, we were served just one pot with pasta - same quantity as for a 2-person meze
Fried anthoi were mostly just batter - some stuffing would improve the dish
