Cocoa Pancakes at Bakery Gourmet Kafeneio, Limassol
The chef had an inspiration and asked if it was okay to change the normal dish. The result is the following: cocoa pancakes with peanut butter spread, strawberries, peaches, passion fruit seeds, coconut flakes, pistachios and maple syrup on the side.
✔ Cocoa pancakes were delicious, even without all the other elements
✔ Fruit were fresh
✔ Saltiness of the peanut butter helps balance out the sweetness of the fruit and maple syrup.
✔ Very nutritious and filling portion
✔ Small and cosy space, colourful decor
✔ Excellent hospitality. All staff were friendly. Love the authenticity of the place and genuineness of the staff.
Site note: they are vegan, gluten free and sugar refined free :)
✘ Would prefer the pancakes a bit more thick
✘ Peanut butter spread was rather dry in the mouth
We recommend this to become a permanent dish - "Fruit Garden Pancakes" - but replace the peanut butter with a touch of salt for saltiness.
- Will we be reordering? Well obviously!
